Six Months Post Adoptive Placement

Yesterday marked Six Months since Lily was placed in our home for adoption. Last week our worker contacted the court, she was told that the Final Order of Adoption was on the Judge's schedule to be signed April 27th. We now are waiting for that little piece of paper to come in the mail, and if everything is on the up and up, it should be post marked today and we should get it tomorrow. Yesterday also marked Three Years since Ben's adoption. Lily's 17 month journey to adoption was small potatoes compared with Ben's journey. Some day Lily will know how we struggled to make sure she got a permanent family, and I got an education in the meantime. All in God's plan, I am sure. God is truely good, and He will see us through. Praise be to the Lord.
